Established in 1978, UM Archives & Special Collections (UMASC) acquires, preserves and makes accessible university records and special research collections which further the educational aims of the University of Manitoba. We hold over 150 years of records from the University of Manitoba as well as private collections in such areas as Arctic/Subarctic Studies, Psychical Research and Spiritualism, Theatre, Film/Animation; Food History; Prairie Literature, Indigenous Peoples, and Human Rights.
